After completing a flyover to open kick off a Jaguars and Texans foorball game Oct. 21, a 701st Airlift Squadron aircrew landing their C-17, just north of the stadium, and were able to make it back to the stadium to see the remainder of the game and to be recognized by the Jaguars and their fans as part of the team's salute to the military. While the crew made their way to their seats to watch the game, hundreds of spectators stopped them to thank them for their service and to ask if that was them that flew over the stadium at the start of the game. while chatting with fans and answering their questions. The aircrew gave out commemorative 701st AS commemorative 75th anniversary patches and Turtle stickers. (In uniform from left) Capt. Dennis Conner, 701 AS pilot, Lt. Col.
