JBC's Reservist 315th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron trains alongside Royal Air Force
The Royal Auxiliary Air Force's No. 4626 (County of Wiltshire) Aeromedical Squadron hosted a team of Reserve Citizen Airmen from Joint Base Charleston's 315th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron for an event focused on sharing aeromedical evacuation skills and expertise for each others' mutual benefit at RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, England, July 12-14, 2019. No. 4626 Squadron and the 315th AES continue to cultivate their affiliation for the purpose of preserving interoperability - that is, to be able for both organizations to effectively aeromedically evacuate patients belonging to either country in the event that a patient needs medical care that exceeds what can be provided on-location.
