Maj. Matt Thurber and Capt. Kevin Thurber, C-17 Globemaster III pilots with the 300th Airlift Squadron at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. stand together as brothers in arms November 15, 2020 at JB Charleston, S.C. The two reservist served as fighter pilots on active duty, Matt Thurber on the F-16 Fighting Falcon with the 308th Fighter Squadron, Luke AFB, Ariz. and Kevin Thurber on the F-15E Strike Eagle with the 335th Fighter Squadron, Seymour-Johnson AFB, N.C., and are currently serving together at the 300th Airlift Squadron at JB Charleston, S.C.
