437th AW delivers airlift capability to Guantanamo Bay Naval Base

Senior Airman Thomas Franklin, a vehicle mechanic assigned to the 628th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., performs mechanical work on a Halverson loader at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (NSGB), Cuba, Nov. 12, 2020. The 15th AS flew an off-station trainer to NSGB to deliver two Halverson loaders and bring two Halverson loaders back to Charleston. The aircrew also conducted airfield and low-level training at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the Florida Keys, Lakeland Linder International Airport and Patrick Air Force Base. Two Airmen, assigned to the 628th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Joint Base Charleston, repaired two loaders before they were loaded onto the jet.
