Military, civilian aviators join forces to improve airspace safety

A C-17 Globemaster III assigned to the 315th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, opens its doors after arriving at Florence Regional Airport on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2025. The aircrew, from the 701st Airlift Squadron at JB Charleston participated in a joint civilian-military airspace safety summit focused on improving coordination and awareness in shared general aviation and military airspace.
