MASTER SERGEANT JOSE A. GONZALEZ JR.

Master Sergeant Gonzalez is currently assigned to the Air Force Reserve Command Recruiting Service 351st Recruiting Squadron at Shaw AFB, SC as the In-Service

Recruiter his mission is to effectively man the 20th Fighter Wing, 20th Fighter Group and GSUs with qualified members.

 

MSgt Gonzalez was born in Bitburg, Germany and grew up in Hinesville, Georgia. After graduating Liberty County High School, he enlisted into the United States Air Force in November 2002. He began his USAF career as a Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Technician assigned to the 81st Civil Engineer Squadron, Keesler AFB, MS. In January 2009 he PCS to the 23rd Civil Engineer Squadron in Moody AFB, GA as HVAC Craftsman/Zone Lead. He deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan, from August 2009 to Mar 2010 and to Manas, Kyrgyzstan, from November 2012 to May 2013. In November 2014, he then PCS to the PACAF 607th Support Squadron, Osan AB, Korea, as HVAC Craftsman/Supervisor. One year later in November 2015, he PCS to the 11th Civil Engineer Squadron Joint Base Andrews as Emergency Management Controls Systems NCOIC. Separated from Active Duty Air Force in November 2017. He enlisted in the Air Force Reserve in November 2017, stationed at Homestead ARB as HVAC Craftsman from November 2017 until February 2019. February 2019 he joined the AFR Recruiting Command, stationed at McChord AFB, WA. as a Line Recruiter until PCS to Shaw AFB, SC.
