315th Airlift Wing announces latest quarterly award winners

Selection boards for Airman, noncommissioned officer, senior NCO, junior officer, field grade officer, and Air Force civilian have announced 315th Airlift Wing winners for the 1st quarter (January - March).

Winners are:

  • Airman of the Quarter Senior Airman Joseph Thames, 315th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
  • NCO of the Quarter Staff Sgt. William Forter, 315th AMXS
  • SNCO of the Quarter Master Sgt. Philip Galuppo, 315th AMXS
  • Company Grade Officer of the Quarter Capt. Kimberly Champagne, 315th AW
  • Field Grade Officer of the Quarter Maj. Erika Paulo, 317th Airlift Squadron
  • Civilian of the Quarter Mark Graveline, 315th AMXS
"Congratulations to our latest quarterly award winners who were chosen for their outstanding achievements in the representation of the 315th AW," said Col. James Fontanella, 315th AW commander. "These are very special honors and it gives me great pleasure to recognize them."

Plaques will be presented at the next Wing Award Ceremony.
"Units that put forth the effort to nominate their deserving personnel for awards are to be commended," Fontanella said. " I urge commanders to continue to take the time to nominate people for these important morale-building awards."
