    The 315th Airlift Wing welcomed a new mission support group commander during a change of command ceremony Saturday, June 1, at the Base Theatre here. Col. Cherie Roff passed command of the 315th MSG on to Col. Bobby Degregorio during the ceremony.

    Members of the 315th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron participated in a National Disaster Medical System exercise May 7, 2019 at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, South Carolina. The exercise replicated a real life scenario in which critically injured patients were airlifted from Charleston, S.C. to Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport after a national disaster. Over 200 participants took part in the large-scale exercise.

Richard “Beau” Williams, Reserve Citizen Airman assigned to the 927th Air Refueling Wing and Capt. Cory Williams, assigned to the 315th Airlift Wing, both wear the same uniform but have very different lives when speaking about their Air Force careers. The two pilots recently embarked on a refueling mission together. Beau flying the KC-135 Stratotanker to refuel a C-17 Globemaster III flown by his brother over the coast of the Florida Keys.
