The wing historian provides a variety of history related services, of which the most important duty is to collect historical data from each of the wing's units that is organized and compiled into the annual 315th AW history. In addition, the historian assembles and maintains several displays chronicling the wing's long and rich history.
Other duties include answering historical inquiries from researchers, maintaining the lineage and honors of the wing and its units and advising the wing's senior leadership on past trends and policies.
