Airmen of the 315th Airlift Wing received a visit from Maj. Gen. Randall A. Ogden, 4th Air Force commander, March 2 and 3, 2018 at Joint Base Charleston, S.C.

On his first visit to JB Charleston as the Fourth Air Force commander, Ogden toured a number of squadrons, meeting with Airmen to talk innovation and progress in today’s Air Force.

From the moment of his arrival until his departure, Ogden met with Airmen, senior enlisted members, civilian employees and commanders in their respective work stations in order to encourage their hard work and view, first hand, their areas of expertise.

Top performers throughout the wing were presented with a commander’s coin by Ogden in recognition of their exceptional work. He remarked that due to the great work done by the Airmen, the Reserve was “operationally indistinguishable” from their active duty counterparts, which embodied the Total Force concept.
