315th AW welcomes new leadership to ranks

The 315th Airlift Wing welcomed two new commanders to the echelon here over the weekend.

During a change of command ceremony, Lt. Col. Taylor Adams took command of the 315th Maintenance Squadron here with Maj. Kimberly Champagne assuming command of the 315th Force Support Squadron here in a separate assumption of command ceremony.

 

A 30-year veteran of the Air Force, Adams’ most recent post was as a maintenance operations office with the maintenance squadron, which he’s held since 2015.

 

Champagne, a 26-year veteran of the Air Force as well, recently completed an assignment as the operations flight commander for the Charleston Southern University Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 772.
