Congress reviews Air Force’s readiness at House hearing
Maj. Gen. Richard S. Haddad, deputy to the chief of Air Force Reserve, testifies during a hearing of the U.S. House Armed Services Committee, Subcommittee on Readiness on Capitol Hill, April 24. Active and reserve component leaders testified to the committee about the FY14 President’s Budget request and force readiness. The proposed budget has about $5 billion to fund Air Force Reserve requirements.
