March 18, 2013 -- The 315th Airlift Wing's 81st Aerial Port Squadron was named winner of two Air Force Reserve Command Logistics Readiness Awards last week. In the unit category, 81st APS was named Air Transportation Activity of the Year, and for the individual category, Senior Master Sgt. Jeffrey Lutz, 81st APS, won Logistics Readiness noncommissioned officer of the year. "Congratulations 81st APS and Senior Master Sgt. Lutz. Your hard work and dedication to help accomplish the 315th AW mission are invaluable. It is an honor to work with the best Port Dawgs in the whole Air Force Reserve! Keep up the great work," said Col. James Fontanella, 315th AW Commander. "Congratulations to all award recipients and nominees for their outstanding accomplishments," said Brig. Gen. Gary Blasziewicz, AFRC director of logistics, said in a memo to commanders. "Your superb efforts, steadfast professionalism, and continued dedication to the Air Force mission are greatly appreciated. Job well done!"
