Special episode of Troop Talk air dates announced

A special edition of the 315th Airlift Wing' Troop Talk is scheduled to air in the Lowcountry Sunday evenings during the Month of November on WCSC's Live 5 Plus.

The special edition, Troop Talk - Extreme Airlift, is a high definition military program produced by the 315th Public Affairs Office. It will air at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 4, 11, 18 and 25 on Live 5 Plus. Live 5 Plus can be found over the air on digital channel 5.2 and on cable on Comcast 212, Knology 146, Time Warner 111 and Home Telecom 116.

"We really wanted this show to be something different," said Capt. Wayne Capps, director.

"You don't want to miss this episode," said the show's Production Manager and editor Michael Dukes. "This is sure to be our greatest video so far."

The high definition show covers four different airlift missions by the 315th to Central and South America.

"It has an exciting and tension filled feel similar to the show Hurricane Hunters," said Lt. Col. Bill Walsh, the show's executive producer.

Troop Talk is a quarterly, news-style military television show produced by the 315th AW Public Affairs that airs on WCSC's Live 5 Plus. Troop Talk focuses on news stories from various units and missions at Joint Base Charleston as well as feature news from other military or military affiliated organizations from around the Lowcountry.

Among Troop Talk's accolades is the winning of a 2012 Telly Award for the show's special edition: Extreme C-17 Factory!
