The aircraft was flown from the Boeing assembly facility in Long Beach, Calif., by Col. Terry Lawrence, 315th AW Operations Group commander. Joining the aircraft's crew was Lt. Gen. Thomas Owen, commander Air Force Aeronautical Systems Center.
