An induction ceremony was held June 26 at the 315th Airlift Wing auditorium here to honor 13 newly promoted staff sergeants and six noncommissioned officers inducted in to the senior NCO ranks.

The guest speaker for the ceremony was Col. Jay D. Jensen, Air Force Reserve Command chief of the Programs Division. An enlisted Airman prior to his commission, Col. Jensen was the 315th Operations Group commander at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C. before assuming his current position with AFRC.

Chief Master Sgt. Edwin Felix, 315th Maintenance Squadron first sergeant, presented the Charleston Airmen with their Certificate of Induction, and Col. Terry Lawrence, 315th Operations Group commander, gave them a 315 AW coin.

Chief Felix and Col. Lawrence gave separate speeches recognizing the accomplishments of the inductees and extended their best wishes to them for their continued success.

Master Sgt. Barry McCourry, 315th Operations Group first sergeant, coordinated the induction ceremony for the 315 AW.
