Wing takes 4 awards at AFRC media contest

Members of the 4th Combat Camera Squadron, under the 315th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, won four awards in the 2023 Air Force Reserve Media Contest.

"Congratulations to the 4 CTCS for representing the wing at the Air Force Reserve Media Contest," said Capt. Shane Ellis, 315 AW Public Affairs chief. "Winning four prestigious awards for the wing is a testament to the squadron's unwavering dedication to excellence in capturing and sharing the stories of our Air Force Reserve. Their talent and commitment shine brightly, showcasing the exceptional professionalism within our ranks."

Of the more than 100 entries in this year’s competition, the following members representing the wing won in their respective categories:

Military Photographer of the Year: SSgt Joseph Leveille, 4 CTCS

Sports Photo: SSgt Jake Buck, 4 CTCS

Video Documentation - B-roll: TSgt Shawn "THICC" White, 4 CTCS

Video Series: TSgt Jamal Sutter, 315th Airlift Wing, 4 CTCS

These winners will now go on to compete at the Air Force-wide Morrell Media Awards.

Combat camera’s mission is to provide senior Department of Defense and joint leaders with a directed imagery capability in support of strategic, operational and planning requirements during wartime operations, worldwide crises, contingencies, joint exercises and humanitarian operations.
