315th Airlift Wing announces quarterly award winners

JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. --  Selection boards for Airman, NCO, senior NCO, junior officer, field grade officer, and Air Force civilian have announced their selections for the 315th Airlift Wing third quarter award winners.

Winners are:
· Airman of the Quarter Senior Airman Lamont Capers, 315th MXS
· NCO of the Quarter Tech. Sgt. Leah Schmidt, 701st AS
· SNCO of the Quarter Master Sgt. Barbara Brown, 315th FSS
· Company Grade Officer of the Quarter Capt. Stephen Sprinkle, 315th AW/EO
· Field Grade Officer of the Quarter Maj. Kimberly Champagne, 315th AW/CCO
· Civilian of the Quarter Ms. Jennifer Alvarez, 315th AMXS

"I would like to extend my congratulations to all of the winners who were chosen for their outstanding achievements in the representation of the 315th Airlift Wing," said Col. Scott Sauter, 315th AW commander. "These are very special honors and it gives me great pleasure to recognize them."

Plaques will be presented at the next Wing Award Ceremony.

"Units that put forth the effort to nominate their deserving personnel for awards are to be commended," Sauter said. "I urge commanders to continue to take the time to nominate people for these important morale-building awards."
