Mr. Mark Graveline, 315th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, was named 315th Airlift Wing Civilian of the Year for calendar year 2013. He also won Civilian of the Quarter for the first quarter of 21013.

Graveline is an Air Reserve Technician during the week and Reservist at least once a month.

"I would like to extend my congratulations to Mr. Graveline who was chosen for this outstanding achievement," Said Col. James Fontanella, 315th AW commander. "This is a very special honor and it gives me great pleasure to recognize him."

His plaque will be presented at the next appropriate opportunity. Graveline's package will be forwarded to the 628th Air Base Wing for consideration for the Team Charleston Civilian of the Year award.

"Units that put forth the effort to nominate their deserving personnel for awards are to be commended," Fontanella added. " I urge commanders to continue to take the time to nominate people for these important morale-building awards."

Annual award winners will have their official portrait on display for the year in building 60, the 315th AW headquarters.
