Performers from the hit TV reality show America's Got Talent visited Joint Base Charleston - Air Base, S.C.

Jimmy Rose, a country music vocalist and teen magician, Collins Key, visited the base and put on performances for aircrew members and JB Charleston family and friends.

Both were top performers on the show and were asked to join in on a country-wide tour, which made a stop in Charleston.

Rose - a four-year veteran of the Marine Corps - said that he loves being on the tour but is especially grateful for being able to perform for JB Charleston.

"In the Marine Corps I've been some places and I've seen some things, so I understand the struggle," he said. "That's why it's an honor to be able to perform for you guys."

During their stop on base, Rose performed at club here and afterward signed autographs.

Key - a native of Los Angeles and 5th place finisher on the show - also put on a short magic show for some members of the 300th Airlift Squadron from here aboard a C-17 Globemaster III out on the flightline.

After the show, Key spoke with several of the aircrew members and expressed his gratitude for their service toward the country.

"I'm not in the military but I've seen what you guys do and the impact it has," Key said. "I really appreciate the invite and what you do for us."
