The 315th Airlift Wing held an induction ceremony for the wing's newest NCOs and Senior NCOs here Sept. 7.

The ceremony was presided over by Chief Master Sgt. Ron Johnson, 315 Maintenance Squadron HSC flight chief, who reiterated the core values of the Air Force - integrity first, service before self and excellence in all we do - to the newly minted NCOs and SNCOs.

Johnson encouraged the inductees to constantly mentor and support their own airmen.

"Leadership is unlocking people's potential to become better," said Johnson.

Col. James Fontanella, 315 AW commander congratulated the inductees on their success and gave them some simple advice.

"The next charge I give to you: earn the loyalty of your subordinates," said Fontanella. "And, don't let the new Airmen down."
