Three 81st Aerial Port Squadron Airmen graduated the latest Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina Airman Leadership School class last week while representing the excellence that our Reserve aerial porters are known for.

Despite being the youngest member of the class, Senior Airman Waneisha Aull, earned the Distinguished Graduate/Commandant’s Award.

Senior Airman Jose Escalera earned the Academic Achievement Award. Senior Airman Tyrus Earls finished out the trio to stand next to his fellow Port Dawgs and ALS graduates.

“The Port Dawgs were humble in the achievement.  Each one respectfully accepted their award and continued to be part of JB Charleston's total force,” said Maj. Thomas Klauer, 81st APS commander.  “ SrA Aull, winning 2 awards was particularly impressive as the youngest in the class of 22 Airman.  SrA Escalera  who had the Academic Achievement, had to rush home that night to begin another college course in the morning.  We are proud to recognize the excellent performance of our future leaders in the 315th AW.”
