JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C -- The 315th Airlift Wing selection boards for the Airman, Non-commissioned Officer, Senior Non-commissioned Officer, Junior Officer, Field Grade Officer selected the following winners for the April - June 2017 quarter:
Airman: Senior Airman Zachary Story, 315th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
NCO: Tech. Sgt. Melanie Fredrick, 315th Aerospace Medicine Squadron
SNCO: Master Sgt. John Wittchow, 315th AMXS
CG Officer: Capt. Donald Smith, 4th Combat Camera Squadron
FG Officer: Lt. Col. Marie Robinson, 315th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron
The Civilian of the Quarter board selected the following winners for April - June 2017:
Cat. I: Olivia Keys, 315th Operations Support Squadron
Cat. II: Athena Mercer, 315th AMXS
“I would like to extend my congratulations to all of the winners above who were chosen for their outstanding achievements in the representation of the 315th Airlift Wing,” said Col. Gregory Gilmour, 315th Airlift Wing commander. “These are very special honors and it gives me great pleasure to recognize them.”
Units that put forth the effort to nominate their deserving personnel for awards are to be commended Gilmour added. “I urge commanders to continue to take the time to nominate people for these important morale-building awards.”
Plaques will be awarded during the next wing award ceremony.
