JB Charleston commander terminates full evacuation order, recalls all personnel

The Joint Base Charleston Commander fully terminated the limited evacuation order and issued a recall order for all remaining personnel as of 12 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018 after the governor’s announcement that lifted the state’s evacuation order. 

All remaining personnel including those in the Northern Coast (All Zones) including Horry County Evacuation Zones A, B, C and Georgetown County Evacuation Zones A, B, C, are hereby ordered/authorized to return from their safe haven location to their residence as soon as possible, but when it is safe to do so given the weather and road conditions but no later than 11:59 p.m.Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018.
