Wing announces winners for fourth quarter

315th Airlift Wing quarterly awards selection boards for airman, noncommissioned officer, senior NCO, company grade officer, field grade officer and first sergeant chose winners for the fourth quarter October to December 2019.

Fourth quarter winners are:
Civilian Cat II of the Quarter: Chiquet Nicholes, 315th Maintenance Group
Airman of the Quarter: Senior Airman Austin Moreland, 701st Airlift Squadron
NCO of the Quarter: Staff Sgt. Jimmy Scardo, 315th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
SNCO of the Quarter: Senior Master Sgt. Matthew Gregg, 38th Aerial Port Squadron
Company Grade Officer of the Quarter: 1st Lt. Thomas Mitchum, 315 Logistics Readiness Squadron

"I would like to extend my congratulations to all of the winners above who were chosen for their outstanding achievements in the representation of the 315th Airlift Wing," said Col. Adam Willis, 315 AW commander. "These are very special honors and it gives me great pleasure to recognize their outstanding achievements."

"Units who put forth the effort to nominate their deserving personnel for awards are to be commended," Willis added. "I urge commanders to continue to take the time to nominate people for these important morale-building awards."

Plaques will be awarded during the next possible wing awards ceremony.  Time off awards for civilian quarterly award winners are limited to 8 hours.
