JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Air Force Reserve Command named the 315th Airlift Wing’s Staff Sgt. Jennifer Healy, 4th Combat Camera Squadron, as its best new military videographer of year for 2024.
After completing her initial technical training at the Defense Information School at Fort Meade, Maryland in 2023, Healy quickly volunteered to go on an Air Force Special Operations Command deployment in March of 2024. “She was still not a 5 level when she deployed and we had to get a grade waiver for her to deploy, but she performed like a seasoned combat cameraman,” said Adrian Cadiz, 4 CTCS assistant director of operations.
A Chicago native who currently lives in California, Healy submitted four of her video projects as part of the 2024 Defense Department’s annual media awards competition which recognizes the best public affairs and combat camera professionals throughout DoD.
