Wing website gets dramatic overhaul Published May 1, 2015 By 315th Airlift Wing Public Affairs JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The 315th Airlift Wing went live with a new and updated public website today that improves security, is much more modern looking and offers mobile versions of its pages for easier viewing on smart phones and tablets. The 315 AW public website address remains the same, www.315aw.afrc.af.mil , but the content is more interactive offering improved social media sharing options and public comments to news stories. “As with any major technology upgrade there will be challenges,” said Michael Dukes, 315 AW Public Affairs Command Information chief. “We worked over the past few months to transfer the information from our old website design over to the new system. As our office becomes more familiar with the new processes involved migration, we look forward to offering a much better experience to our site’s visitors than in the past.” The wing’s public website not only gives the public access to the latest news and photos about the 315th, but it also offers leadership biographies, unit and aircraft factsheets, and more.
