315 AW announces quarterly award winners for 4th quarter CY 2015

The 315th Airlift Wing selection boards for the Airman, Noncommissioned Officer, Senior Noncommissioned Officer, Junior Officer, Field Grade Officer selected the following winners for October-December 2015 quarter:

Airman              Senior Airman Daniel Shanahan, 315th Security Forces Squadron

NCO                   Tech Sgt. Ted Hernandez, 315th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron

SNCO                Master Sgt. Shirley Wiggins-White, 315th Operations Support Squadron

CG Officer       1st Lt Janet Czipo, Jordan Barnes, 701st Airlift Squadron

FG Officer        Maj. Susan Gordon, 300th Airlift Squadron

The Civilian of the Quarter board selected the following winner for October-December 2015:

Cat. I       Betsy Papizan, 315th AW

Cat. II      Elvis Tull, 701st AS

“I would like to extend my congratulations to all of the winners above who were chosen for their outstanding achievements in the representation of the 315th Airlift Wing,” said Col. Gregory Gilmour, 315th Airlift Wing commander.  “These are very special honors and it gives me great pleasure to recognize them.”

Units that put forth the effort to nominate their deserving personnel for awards are to be commended Gilmour added.  “I urge commanders to continue to take the time to nominate people for these important morale-building awards.”

Plaques will be awarded during the next wing award ceremony.
