Canadian C-17

A Canadian Flag hangs over the cargo area of the Royal Canadian Air Force's newest cargo jet during a brief stopover at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina March 30, 2015 prior to departing to the 8 Wing Trenton in Ontario, Canada. The new CC-177 is the fifth aircraft to be delivered to the Royal Canadian Air Force. The 429th TS started flying the CC-177 in July 2007, and the primary mission of the squadron is to provide responsive domestic global airlift to support the Canadian armed forces through humanitarian and support missions around the globe. The CC-177 is the Royal Canadian Air Force’s version of the C-17 Globemaster III flown by the U.S. Air Force. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Michael Dukes)
