ALZ repairs complete

Members of the construction crew watch as the first C-17 Globemaster III lands on the North Auxiliary runway in North, South Carolina Dec. 8, 2016 following a six-month runway construction project. The runway, originally constructed of asphalt, was beginning to deteriorate. Approximately 21,000 tons of asphalt was repurposed as a foundation below the new concrete.
