    Five 315th Airlift Wing Reserve Citizen Airmen were among the 51 Distinguished Flying Crosses awarded by U.S. Air Force Gen. Mike Minihan, commander of Air Mobility Command, for their actions in Operation Allies Refuge, during a ceremony at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., Nov. 21, 2022.

  • JBC relocates C-17s, prepares for Tropical Storm Ian

    Base personnel completed C-17 Globemaster III aircraft relocation operations in preparation for Tropical Storm Ian at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, Sept. 29, 2022. To effectively prepare the aircraft for relocation, base personnel worked together to ensure the C-17s were fueled and loaded

  • 315AW Citizen Airman leads AFRC team at 26th AF marathon

    Master Sgt. Jimmie Wilbourn, who manages the 315th Airlift Wing Yellow Ribbon Program at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., recently had the opportunity to lead the Air Force Reserve Command team in the 26th Annual Air Force Marathon.

  • Wing selects 16 for STEP II promotions

    315th Airlift Wing leadership announced during its September unit training assembly that it selected 16 Reservists  for promotion under the Stripes for Exceptional Performers program effective Oct. 1, 2022.
