560th Red Horse Returns Home From Deployment Hundreds welcome 560th RED HORSE Airmen home

The 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron fire department conducted a response exercise Friday, August 11, 2017, to test the response and teamwork skills of the new fire crew, who arrived here with the recent rotation a few weeks ago. The exercise was a simulated fire at the Personnel Support for Contingency Operations facility.

Joint Base Charleston teamed with the Alpha Warrior organization to provide a new way for service members and civilians to maintain fitness at the Air Base Fitness and Sports Center here Aug. 5. The new option is an Alpha Warrior Battle Rig, an obstacle course designed to test grip strength, core strength, endurance, agility and stamina. Brent Steffenson, Alpha Warrior pro-athlete, help facilitate a competition for those in attendance and explained how the rig highlights the four pillars of comprehensive Airmen fitness.
