Senior Master Sgt. Jeremy Davis, 315th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, was recently named winner of the General Lew Allen, Jr., Trophy.

“It is with great pleasure to announce Senior Master Sgt. Jeremy Davis’s selection for the General Lew Allen, Jr., Trophy!,” said Col. Thomas Walter, 315th Maintenance Group commander. “Congratulations to Jeremy and thank you for the hard work on his application.”

As 315 AMXS’s lead production superintendent, Davis helps direct C-17 hurricane evacuation teams, oversees C-17 maintenance recovery teams, leads teams participating in command level exercises like Air Mobility Command’s Mobility Guardian, manages international missions, has helped to solidify serviceability of 222 C-17 Globemaster IIIs.

The United States Air Force created the General Lew Allen, Jr. Trophy in Allen's honor, which is awarded annually to an officer and a senior noncommissioned officer in the aircraft maintenance or munitions career fields directly involved with setting up aircraft sorties.
