JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The 315th Airlift Wing started sharing a new video series this month on its Facebook and YouTube pages to highlight the wing's top performers who were selected to represent their units in the wing's 2020 Annual Awards program.
The video series features short one-minute video clips featuring various members of the wing announcing a particular category of nominees. The categories include: Civilian Category I, Civilian Cat II, Airman, Non-Commissioned Officer, Senior NCO, First Sergeant, Company Grade Officer and Field Grade Officer.
Each Tuesday and Thursday a new one-minute video will be posted on the wing's Facebook and YouTube pages announcing nominees for a category. After all the nominees have been announced, the 315th Airlift Wing Commander Col. Adam Willis and Command Chief Master Sgt. John Burke will be featured in a final video (currently scheduled for April 10) to announce the winners in each category.
"This video series highlighting our best wing members is a great way to demonstrate the significance of their accomplishments as well as help to add excitement for our annual awards program," Willis said.
Each award winner will receive their award at the wing's first award gala scheduled for June 5, 2021.
